Sharjah Training and Preparation
As night falls in Sharjah, the Chinese team's preparation for the match has not stopped, as they have started continuous training at the Sharjah Club's practice ground. Naturalized player Alan, facing the media, shared his preparation status.
Speaking about his fitness reserves, Alan said bluntly: "I'm in pretty good shape, the intensity of the daily training is extremely high and the coaching team is doing their best to condition us. I feel that my fitness is steadily improving, although I do feel a little tired now and then, but that's probably due to the hot climate in the area. There is still some time to go before the tournament and I am confident that we will all be well acclimatized by then."
Facing the upcoming match against Vietnam, the Chinese team is eager to win, and goals from the forward line is the key. Talking about the team's forward line bonding and recent performance, Alan said, "Our players are outstanding individually and work well together, and although we may not have reached our best in the first two matches, I am looking forward to a breakthrough in the next match."
A reporter observed that the naturalized players seemed to have more confidence and asked Alan how he would pass this confidence on to the domestic players. Alan responded: "Every player in our team is confident, not just the naturalized players. The past matches were really challenging and the opponents were strong. We need to make sure that whoever is playing is representing the national team to the fullest. I am also ready to play at any time and look forward to performing on the field."
