Looking back at the previous round of matches, Heilongjiang ended Chengdu's 15-round unbeaten streak with a 2-1 win, Zhejiang edged out Nanjing 1-0, Guizhou drew with Beitian University, Shaanxi edged out Northern Polytechnic 2-0, Meizhou turned back Gusu 3-1 to stay in the lead, and Jiangxi beat Liaozhu 1-0.
