On September 14th in Beijing, China's national soccer team officially unveiled a set of exciting moments of preparation and training, revealing the details of the team's arrival in Sharjah, UAE. It is worth mentioning that Zhang Linpeng, who was previously sidelined due to injury, is also in active recovery.
According to the official news, after a few days of rest and recuperation, the Chinese men's national soccer team started the team's first outdoor training session after arriving in Sharjah at 8:00 p.m. on Sept. 13 at the Sharjah Stadium's outfield training ground.
On the eve of the training, captain Wu Xi was interviewed by the media. He said that after a few days of rest and recuperation, the physical and mental fatigue brought about by the league and the consecutive high-intensity closed environment matches of the 12th round has been relieved to a certain extent. Next, the team will actively solve the problems they face through training and warm-up matches to improve their strength and prepare for the tournament.
Zhang Linpeng, who sprained his back in the recently concluded match against Japan, is currently recovering actively and cannot participate in the team practice for the time being. Apart from Zhang Linpeng, all other 30 players participated in today's training session.
