On September 7, Beijing time, a netizen "jokerrr6" disclosed the news shocked the football world: the B League Kunming Zhenghe Shipbuilding Football Salon has been caught up in up to seven months in arrears of wages.
Netizen "jokerrr6" revealed in the post:
The Kunming Zhenghe Shipwrights' Football Salon (once known as the Yunnan Kunlu Football Salon) is currently facing seven months of salary arrears to its players, coaches and administrative staff.
Originally, at the beginning of the season, the club's senior management promised to resolve the payroll issue after the completion of the first round of the league, however, the payroll was repeatedly delayed due to the poor management of the parent company. Although the person in charge had verbally promised to release some of the salaries after the second round of matches in July and after the first phase of matches in early August, the promise was never honored.
On August 26, the club investors promised to pay salaries on September 2, however, by September 2, and then shirked on various excuses. The bonus agreed in the contract, the relevant person in charge is not mentioned. Last year, the team's Yunnan players were forced to leave the team after signing the access because they were seeking their entitlements, and were eventually told not to renew their contracts.
It is reported that due to the lack of income sources, some players were forced to choose to retire and turn to other professions to survive; some players even risked taking out loans, and some even started delivering takeaways to make ends meet.
We expect the club executives to fulfill their promises and avoid becoming a man of bad faith, and we hope that the relevant units and social enterprises will lend a helping hand to support these players who have brightened up Yunnan's soccer!
