On August 31st, Guizhou, a Chinese League One powerhouse, released information on player injuries, revealing that goalkeeper Zhang Sipeng had suffered a serious injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right leg, and had undergone surgery to repair the injury in Beijing. According to the preliminary assessment of the medical department, Zhang Sipeng's recovery is expected to take six months.

The official statement of Guizhou Football Club pointed out that Zhang Sipeng was unfortunately injured in the match against Jiangxi Beidamen. Given the uncomplicated nature of the injury, after repeated diagnosis by the medical team and a number of experts, it was finally diagnosed as a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in the right leg. After emergency surgery, Zhang Sipeng's post-operative recovery period is expected to last up to six months.

Zhang Sipeng began his career at Beijing Guoan before moving to Jiangsu Suntian and eventually joining Guizhou Hengfeng, where he established himself as the starting goalkeeper.
