In the late afternoon of August 26th, heavy news came out of Football Australia that a highly anticipated match would kick off at dawn on Friday, September 3rd, at 2:00 am BST (corresponding to 21:00 Qatar time on September 2nd).
The stage for this showdown is set at the Caliphate World Stadium in Qatar. Not only is the stadium one of the main venues for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, but its unique cooling technology ensures that the playing environment is maintained at an ideal 26 degrees Celsius.
After a long journey of about nine hours, the Qatar Airways plane carrying the Chinese men's football delegation arrived at Hamad International Airport in Doha at about 5:12 a.m. local time on August 26th.
It is reported that the team has been informed before boarding the plane that the whole team needs to go to the resident hotel for nucleic acid test directly after arriving in Doha. After checking into the hotel and completing the immunization test, the players may take a short breakfast break and then return to their respective rooms to rest. The coaching team of the Chinese men's soccer team will also develop a specific training program based on the layout of the venue and other actual conditions.
