Recently, there was a huge uproar on the internet when a video of Xie Hui, a former famous player and head coach of the Nantong Zhiyun team in the Central League, making inappropriate remarks after drinking was widely circulated. Nantong Zhiyun team then announced the suspension of Xie Hui's head coaching position. on August 22nd, Xie Hui formally announced through microblogging, decided to resign from the coaching position of Nantong Zhiyun soccer club. Talking about future planning, he revealed plans to go to Germany for further study and precipitation.

Xie Hui wrote in a tweet:

After a few days of calm reflection, being at home with the kids and taking care of the house, I was surprisingly at peace.

However, I still feel the need to give an account.

After much deliberation, I have decided to resign from my position as coach of Nantong Zhiyun Football Club.

The decision was difficult for me because I have long considered myself and the team as one. I feel very sorry that I cannot lead the team to finish the season. Nantong Zhiyun is a team full of righteousness and unity, and every member of the team has dreams and beliefs. I would like to apologize to the players who played alongside me, and I am irresponsible for not being able to accompany you all the way through the season.

In any case, the nearly one and a half seasons I spent coaching the Nantong Jiyuns was a crucial experience in my coaching career, for which I am deeply grateful.

Regarding the "clandestine video" incident, I have also reflected on myself. As a member of the industry, I should be more professional and cautious in my words and deeds.

However, I hope that in the future, such incidents will become less and less frequent, or even never happen again. I hope that we will not lose our sense of daily security because of this incident, because the lack of security will trigger doubts about human nature itself.

We still need to believe that the world will be a better place if we keep the faith.

My first love for soccer has never changed, and I left not out of fear or avoidance, but for a better start.

Next, I'll be traveling to Germany to further my education, immerse myself, and prepare for my next journey.

Lastly, I want to say to my friends who have been supporting me, I will be back.

Because, "You can't take the world and give it away to people you despise."

Also, I'd like to recommend a book I've been reading recently, Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged.

I hope the epidemic ends soon, everyone can travel as they please, and everyone is healthy and happy.
