The league battle is in full swing as Hebei and Dalian start their 9th round showdown. In the first half, young players
The first goal of the game was a brilliant shot by Zhang Wei, who was the first to break the deadlock for Hebei. Although neither side scored in the second half, Hebei finally beat Dalian with a score of 1-0.
Prior to the match, Hebei was in fourth place in the Suzhou Region with 11 points, but was in a slight slump with only 1 win and 2 losses in July. Dalian Ren, on the other hand, is in last place in the Suzhou Region, having failed to win a game in July. Both teams started with young players in their starting lineups, with Dalian sending Lin Liangming to the starting lineup.
The game began with Dalian on the attack in just the second minute, but a shot from near the penalty spot went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, a long shot by Cernus from outside Hebei went wide. Hebei took the lead in the 21st minute when Zhang Chengdong sent a direct ball into the penalty area, where defender Zhang Chong made a mistake with a teammate.
Playmaker Zhang Wei scored with a toe poke to give Hebei a 1-0 lead over the Dalianese.
Toward the end of the first half, Hebei came close with a long shot from the outside, but it was darted away by Dalian goalkeeper Bao Yaxiong. At halftime, Hebei led Dalian 1-0.
In the second half, Hebei had a chance from a set piece on the right side of the field, and Cernus drove the set piece to the penalty area, but it was broken out by Dalian player Zhao Jianbo. In the 50th minute, Dalian launched an attack, Sun Guowen's long-distance shot was parried by Bao Yaxiong. The second half was dull until the 84th minute, when Dalian got a corner kick, but Boateng's shot was blocked. In the end, the match ended with Hebei defeating Dalian 1-0.
