Back in 1993, at the age of 6, Artemisia joined the Wuhan Wansongyuan Road Primary School soccer team, and in 1998, after graduating from elementary school, Artemisia entered the Wuhan Soccer School. 2002, he was selected as an amateur player for Tianjin Teda, and then traveled to the English Premier League to try out for Chelsea.
