According to AFC's notice on July 2, member associations participating in the third phase of the Qatar World Qualification Tournament and the 12-team tournament are required to submit their home match organization plans before July 16, and prepare a "third-party" alternate home match plan for any changes that may be brought about by the outbreak of the epidemic. As of the afternoon of July 16, the Chinese National Football Association has not yet submitted the program. It is reported that, according to China's national football association and the national football program, the national football 12 strong preferred home for Shanghai, "alternate home" has not been determined. At present, the China National Football Association 12 strong match preparation and protection team is fully promoting the implementation of the plan.
Immediately after the results of the group draw for the 12-team tournament were announced on July 1, the participating member associations and teams were put into intense preparations for the tournament. Among these tasks, the first and foremost task was to formulate the organizational plan for the home tournament.
From the point of view of FIFA, AFC attention to the interests of sponsors, the whole 12 strong tournament using home and away match system is almost a foregone conclusion. At present, the participating member associations of the state of the epidemic situation and the laws of each country, epidemic prevention policies vary, but FIFA, the AFC for its sponsorship of all kinds of major tournaments introduced a strict "away team personnel isolation period". In other words, if this period conflicts with the epidemic prevention and quarantine rules of the participating member associations, FIFA and AFC may require the member association of the home team to choose a venue in a third party country (region) as the team's alternate home venue.
As the 12-team tournament will start in early September, in order to properly complete the preparations for the tournament, the AFC requires member associations to submit their home match organization plans and "alternate home" plans within two weeks of the notification, i.e., no later than the 16th.
In fact, from June 17th from the United Arab Emirates back to China, the Chinese National Football Association and the national football coach, the management team began to start the preparation work for the 12 strong match. At the beginning of this month, the association of national football 12 strong match preparation and protection team members have begun to "examine" the home field spare site, they examined the target is the Shanghai part of the game, training venues and hotels.
As of July 16, the preferred alternate home venue for the National Football League's Round of 12 remains Shanghai.
The reason for choosing Shanghai is actually not complicated. On the one hand, the immigration address for all the relevant personnel of our women's soccer team for the second round of the Olympic play-offs and the national soccer team for the 40-team tournament is Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Therefore, once our team will be the 12 strong home stadium in Shanghai, then the home and away team delegation and the AFC tournament officials in the entry and exit procedures can be fully referenced to the previous China's women's football, men's football related procedures. In addition, Shanghai has accumulated successful experience in cooperating with the entry and exit of our women's and men's soccer players and in creating a closed loop of epidemic prevention for the tournament. These experiences can be immediately applied to improve the efficiency of the reception and epidemic prevention work of the national soccer team.
From the current situation, this year's newly completed SAIC Pudong Stadium is likely to become the first candidate for the National Football League 12 home game venue. In addition, the Yuan Shen Stadium, which has taken over the Chinese Super League competition before, is also likely to become the team's alternate training venue.
It is reported that the Chinese National Football Association national football 12 strong match preparation and protection team members recently also specially examined the part of the hotel located in Shanghai, which also specially for the visiting team in the Pudong New District examined part of the hotel. From this it is not difficult to judge, if eventually our team 12 strong match home field can be located in Shanghai, then the game place and the visiting team activity area probability will be concentrated in the new district, which in fact is also in order to better implement the tournament epidemic prevention work.

Compared to the local home venue candidates, the selection of third-party "alternate home" venues is a major headache for a large number of member associations participating in the 12-team tournament, including the Chinese National Football Association (CNFA).
As of now, our group rivals, Australia, are still unsure whether they can play their home matches in their home country. The Japanese Football Association (JFA) has previously indicated that it would like to organize home matches in the Kansai region of the country. However, as the host of the Summer Olympics, Japan has also recently experienced a significant epidemic, all of which has brought uncertainty to the organization of the Japanese team's home field.

China National Football Association of the hardware conditions and management of the candidate area, service capacity is full of confidence, but due to the National Football League 12 competition home and away repeated cross, involving more complex personnel entry and exit problems, and now China is still implementing a more stringent epidemic prevention and quarantine measures to prevent the entry of personnel, so the team will be able to wish to play in the domestic competition, but also is still unknown. As for the selection of the third-party "alternate home field", it also depends on the laws, epidemic prevention rules and conditions of the relevant member associations. Logically, even if our team is unable to play home matches in China, the third-party "alternate home field" will be organized in the member association countries where the opponents of the same group of non-national football teams belong to. For example, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates or Qatar and other competition address may enter the candidate range.
