Taishan Evening News: First of all, thank you for accepting the interview, can you talk about your growing up story? When did you start playing soccer and what did you love about it?
Zhao Xue: I started playing soccer in 2003 when I was 12 years old, and I was favored by the coaches since I was a kid, maybe because I was quicker to learn the moves, and the coaches thought I had some potential. When I was young, I thought it was fun to play soccer, and I didn't have any big dreams at that time, because I liked it, and I took it step by step.
Wu Haiyan: I play soccer can be said to be a mistake, the beginning is because of the physical quality is better, at that time was practicing track and field, and finally was selected into the soccer team, and then slowly began to play soccer.
Tingting Wang: I started playing soccer in first grade, I was selected in elementary school, with a playful mindset, may be running laps in the forefront, inexplicably was selected. At that time, the school needed a soccer team as well as a volleyball team, and they all participated, and then they got more involved in soccer and chose soccer.
Taishan Evening News: From the very beginning of playing soccer to becoming a professional player to being selected for the national team, what do you think is the biggest difficulty you encountered?
Zhao Xue: Maybe it's because women's soccer has less attention, the salary level is still a big gap compared to men's soccer, so I hope more people will pay attention to us. Initially, I had thought of giving up, but after the coach's counseling, I was more determined, and I thought I could play for the national team, so I persevered. Everyone has a period of low point, after the 2013 National Games, we also thought of giving up, our first year of the women's first-class results are not very good, from the second year to start to improve. I'm very thankful to Mr. Yin, who has been encouraging our players' morale since he took over the team.
Wu Haiyan: Injuries may be the biggest difficulty, but they have also brought me a lot of inspiration, since I have given so much, I have to get a reward for myself and persevere.
Tingting Wang: In fact, my journey has been very smooth, without much difficulty, the only hurdle is to face the problem of playing soccer or going to school. After I graduated from junior high school, my mom still wanted me to go to college, just like other kids. Because my dad liked soccer, he supported me and respected my decision. I finally made my own decision and chose soccer.

The first game of the tournament, I think, there was a huge crowd, and we were playing against the hosts, Canada. I felt like enjoying the process, and I don't get many chances like this in my life.
Wang Tingting: When I entered the national team list, I thought I was not a kid anymore, I was in my twenties, and I didn't have too many difficulties when I entered the national team, and I wanted to fight for staying. Later on, maybe I didn't meet the requirements of the national team coaches and didn't stay, which was a pity. In the future, I will definitely want to enter the national team again through my own efforts, and strive to have a place for myself!
