BEIJING, January 27, 2023 - elperiodicodearagon from Spain has revealed that Chinese Super League rivals Tianjin Jinmen Tigers have thrown an olive branch to Liga B midfielder Bermejo and have managed to attract interest in joining him.

It has been reported that Tianjin Jinmen Tigers have offered Zaragoza's Bermejo a very attractive contract that significantly increases the player's salary package from the original 80,000 euros several times over. In response, Bermejo said he had decided to accept the offer from the Chinese Super League, although he knew it was not immediate. The Chinese Super League is expected to kick off at the end of April, and Bermejo could first be loaned out until the end of the year.

24-year-old Bermejo is ready for the challenge of the Chinese Super League. He has received offers from several Liga B teams since Zaragoza told him to find his own way, but he was ultimately lured by an offer from China.

Although the Chinese Super League's gold dollar bubble has been burst in the last two years and clubs are no longer splurging as much as they used to, they still have their sights set on Europe for reinforcements. Earlier, Valencia's striker Vallejo also received an offer from Chinese Super League side Wuhan Sanzhen. For Bermejo, who had to accept a loan this year, his deal with Zaragoza expires on June 30, 2024, and if all goes well, he will play in the Chinese Super League until the end of the year.

Bermejo has appeared in 21 league and two cup games for Zaragoza this season, contributing one goal. Whereas last season, he scored one goal and dished out four assists in 38 games, he is currently second-to-last on the team's payroll.
