Serie A giants Juventus are plotting to shore up their squad in the winter window, targeting young defender Yossim Anorthan of Premier League side Fulham, All Juve has revealed.

Despite Anorthan's sparse appearances in his debut season at Fulham, Juventus continue to fancy his Serie A grind, with the 28-year-old defender having made the leap from other leagues for a fee of €29.5 million. So far, he has made just six appearances, but has unexpectedly contributed an assist.

But Juventus' confidence has not been shaken and they plan to bring in Anorthan on loan in a bid to strengthen the team's defense with his arrival and prepare for the second half of the season.

With the countdown to the transfer window, Juventus is working hard to identify potential reinforcements, and Anorthosis' name has clearly become an important piece in the team's tactical adjustments. His arrival may bring a new force and solid protection to Juventus' defense.
