Lucas Torreira, who got his start at club 18 de Julio, joined the youth camp of Montevideo Rangers in 2013. Shortly after, he stood out and joined the youth system of Pescara in Italy.
On the eve of the 2014-15 season, Torreira took a career leap forward. on October 25, despite being named to the playing squad for the first time, he did not get a chance to play.
