The AFC recently released a notice stating that the AFC is responsible for the travel expenses of the Guam national team and AFC officials in the region to the UAE, as well as the living and transportation expenses of all participating teams and referees in the region.
In the face of this request, China Football Association (CFA) quickly responded by announcing that the Guam team and the AFC match officials will take a chartered flight together with our delegation to Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, from Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 13:00 on the 3rd, and that the CFA will be responsible for the accommodation, food and beverage, and transportation arrangements for the participating teams in Sharjah.
Here is the official response from the FA:
The email sent by the AFC to the member associations of the participating teams in Group A is a reconfirmation and endorsement of the principle of hosting the remaining Group A matches. Our country, as the host of the tournament, will be responsible for the accommodation, food and transportation costs of all participating teams at the tournament venue, while the round-trip transportation costs for each participating team to arrive at the tournament venue will be the responsibility of each team.
