As the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers for the Asian Round of 40 Group A tournament progresses, a sudden change is in the offing. It has been reported that the tournament, originally scheduled to be played in Gusau, has now been announced to be transferred to Sharjah, UAE. This change not only affects the Chinese team's preparation rhythm, its schedule and game time has also been adjusted.

According to Syria's official social media, the game in Sharjah, UAE is expected to be open to fans despite the change of venue. Once this comes to fruition, ticketing will be the sole responsibility of the CFA.

The Syrian Football Association (SFA) said in an announcement that there is still a possibility of allowing fans to attend the remaining Group A matches. Currently, they are actively negotiating with the UAE side, trying to ensure public health, while complying with the UAE's anti-epidemic regulations, so as to realize the admission of fans to the matches. It is expected that a definitive announcement will be made in the near future.
