On May 31st, the eighth round of the China League A matches settled down, and the teams started to compete fiercely. In the Wuhan match, Wuhan Three Town and Guizhou team fought to a 1-1 draw. After eight rounds of fighting, the gap between the top seven teams in the Central League standings is only three points, with Meizhou Hakka leading the way with 18 points, followed by Zhejiang, Nantong Zhiyun and Wuhan Sanzhen with 17 points, Xi'an Athletic of Shaanxi with 16 points, and Chengdu Rongcheng and Heilongjiang Bingcheng in the sixth and seventh places with 15 points.

The match between Wuhan Sanzhen and Guizhou has become the focus of the Wuhan region, and the result of this match will directly affect the top position of the Central League table. If they win, Wuhan Sanzhen will leapfrog the "leader" of the Central League. Despite being the newest team in the Central League, Wuhan Sanzhen has become the favorite to win the Super League with the addition of several Chinese super players. The team was on a winning streak that lasted until the third round of the competition with Guizhou, which was the team's only loss this season. Head coach Alberto said before the match that despite losing to Guizhou in the top-of-the-table showdown last time out, the team will never take this game lightly and will give it their all.

Guizhou became the only team to start the league with three consecutive wins after beating Wuhan Sanzhen, but then suffered three consecutive losses. It wasn't until they drew with Gusu Dongwu in the last round that the team was able to stop their downward spiral. As the Chinese League One enters its final stage, Guizhou, currently ranked fourth in the Wuhan division, will have to go all out against Wuhan Sanzhen, the top-ranked team in their division, if they want to pursue higher goals.

In this game, Wuhan Sanzhen's double foreign aid are striker Ogbu and center back Jadason, and Edmilson, who has already scored five goals and three assists, failed to play. Guizhou, on the other hand, played with a full Chinese squad and had no regular center forward in their lineup. U23 youngster Ural was replaced in the 24th minute by Ilhamujiang, who is also a midfielder. Although Wuhan Sanzhen took the initiative, the overall offense was a bit rough, except for Rosenman's planned attack which was converted into a goal. Guizhou played tenaciously and aggressively, but the front line was unavailable and lacked the ability to break through. The two teams faced each other fiercely in the first half, with Wuhan Sanzhen taking a 1-0 lead due to their lineup advantage.

Trailing by a goal, Guizhou didn't give up in the second half, they came up to press Wuhan Sanzhen high up the pitch, burning the battle to the opponent's danger zone. By getting successive set-pieces, they finally seized the opportunity to equalize the score.

As the match came to an end, Wuhan Three Town attacked with all their might for the victory, but Edmilson failed to make a mark in the limited time, and other attacking chances could not be converted into goals, and the two sides finally shook hands to settle the score.
