Auntie Sun Wen is coming to our school! The excitement was overflowing, and the students' hearts were pounding with excitement and enthusiasm. on the morning of May 31st, the morning dew, the Experimental Primary School in the Shan Haitian Resort Area, the laughter intertwined into a cozy picture.
Next to the teaching building on campus, a huge exhibition board is particularly eye-catching, on which the theme of "Looking up to the stars, China's women's soccer team is brilliant" catches our eyes. The board introduces the three "resounding roses" of China's women's soccer team: Sun Wen, vice president of the Football Association; Wang Hong, regional director of women's soccer; and Fan Yunjie, former national women's soccer player. On weekdays, the soccer players have memorized the content of the exhibition board, and many students regard them as their idols, and today they were lucky enough to have a glimpse of them.
At 8:30 a.m., Sun Wen and her team arrived at the campus to visit the children during the "Rizhao Industrial Cup" Women's Football Adult Qualifying Tournament for the 14th National Games in Rizhao.
"Tomorrow is 'June 1' Children's Day, Happy Holidays students!" Auntie Sun Wen wore a smile and sent her blessings to the students. The children cheered and greeted her.
Auntie Sun Wen was approachable and amiable, and the reporter was honored to take a photo with her. However, when it came to soccer, she was firm-eyed and focused. Sun Wen, who is the vice-chairman of the Football Association, inquired with concern about soccer practice, facility construction, and student participation.
She quickly gathered the soccer players together and said, "I see you're practicing passing, let me quiz you on what to look for in a pass?"
"Pass the ball fast!" "Be accurate!" The players replied.
"You guys are all right. Another important point is to be ahead of the game, be observant, scan around like a radar, watch your teammates, your opponents!" Auntie Sun Wen, as if she was back on the green battlefield, patiently explained to us. The players listened attentively and cherished this rare lesson.
After the explanation, Auntie Sun Wen suggested, "Why don't we have a rivalry game to see how well you practiced!"
A mini-match ensued. Auntie Sun Wen stood on the sidelines, observing carefully and giving guidance from time to time.
After the game, Auntie Sun Wen gave us the gifts she brought - some brand new soccer balls. The players came forward, "Auntie, give me your autograph!" Auntie Sun Wen smiled and picked up a pen, signing the soccer balls one by one while saying, "The soccer balls you were given are not for you to put up, they are for you to play! You have to strengthen your practice and improve your level! Understand?"
The same scene also appeared in Rizhao City Gold Coast Primary School. Students surrounded Sun Wen, Wang Hong and Fan Yunjie, who patiently signed autographs for their young fans and encouraged them to study well and train hard.
Seeing a player practicing with the ball around the pole, Aunt Sun Wen came to the side to guide: "The center of gravity should be low, the knees slightly bent, the body slightly leaning forward, and the eyes should be fixed on the ball ...... Boldly do it! No. 32 did a good job!" The young players who were praised immediately smiled happily.
An "upgraded" rivalry match was then launched on the campus' green field - Sun Wen, Wang Hong and Fan Yunjie played against five members of the school's women's soccer team in a three-member team. The red storm of the "Clanging Roses" started up again, and the people watching the game cheered and cheered, and the side of the bleachers was almost full of little fans.
The Sun Wen team skillfully played together while explaining their skills to the opposing players, which was meaningful and educational. Soon enough, the young players improved - they were more aggressive in their hustle and more cooperative in their play. In the middle of the game, Auntie Sun Wen received a pass back from Fan Yunjie and fired a shot through the keeper's fingers into the one-meter wide goal, which was quite like the game back then, and we all applauded and shouted in applause.
"To hold up the offensive space, do not pile up, not to mention staring at the ball ...... we don't rush, take your time, and the skills will surely improve steadily. I hope that more soccer talents can be developed among you to compete for the country in the future!" Aunt Sun Wen eagerly said.
After the event, Auntie Sun Wen reluctantly gathered around with the children.
Fourth-grade Wang Zixuan and a few of her best friends got autographs, joyful and excited. "China's women's soccer team is a role model for us to learn from, and we have to train hard in the future, so maybe one of us can enter the national team!" said Wang Zixuan excitedly. Wang Zixuan said excitedly.
Sending a soccer ball is not only a gift to the children on June 1, but also like sowing a seed - "Clanging Roses" in a common way to physically influence and drive the next generation. In a common way, the "resounding roses" are physically influencing and driving the next generation, so that the dream of struggling and fighting for the country's glory will take root and blossom in the new soil.
