On May 27, a surprising event came out of the soccer world - the Philippine soccer team's preparation plan in Qatar was hit with a headache, according to renowned soccer journalist Chill.

In its report, Chill pointed out that the latest news from the Philippine spin.ph website shows that the Philippine team, which has just started its training in Doha last Sunday night, is already facing difficulties, with only 13 players able to participate in the training so far. Notably, the Philippines' starting goalkeeper, Birmingham's Etheridge, is unable to arrive in Doha for the time being due to a wedding. In addition, the team has just signed Justin Bass, a center back from domestic giants Union City FC, to join them, while naturalized midfielder Strauss, who plays for the German Bundesliga team, was injured, but fortunately the injury is not serious. Nonetheless, the Philippine team is eager to assemble a full 25-man squad as soon as possible to complete further training in Doha.
