The first five rounds of the first phase of the league have come to an end, except for two postponed matches. In these five rounds of competition, Shanghai Harbor and Shandong Taishan with three wins and two draws, hand in hand with 11 points, respectively, in the Gusu District and Guangzhou District, ahead of the group, but also synchronized to lead the standings. Guangzhou, the eight-time champion, is in the eighth place with one less game. At the end of the table, Henan Songshan Longmen and Wuhan team tied for the bottom with only 2 points.
Specifically in Guangzhou, Taishan became the only undefeated team, topping the list with 11 points from three wins and two draws. The second to fourth ranked Guangdong trio, Guangzhou City and Shenzhen, have the same eight points, while Guangzhou is in second place with seven points due to one game less. Cangzhou and Henan are both winless and are in the last two places with three and two points respectively, but Henan has also played one less game.
In the Gusu Division, Harbor is leading the way with 11 points from three wins and two draws. They are closely followed by promoted team Yatai with nine points from two wins and three draws. Shanghai Shenhua and Hebei are in third and fourth place with eight points. Hebei has played one less game and is one of the three undefeated teams in the Gusau Region. The only team that failed to win in the Gusu Region was Wuhan, with 2 draws and 3 losses, and only 2 points at the bottom of the table.
Looking at the overall standings, Seaport and Taishan are tied for first place with three wins and two draws, while Yatai is in third place with nine points. Shanghai Shenhua, Hebei, Guangzhou City and Shenzhen are tied with 8 points. Guangzhou and Beijing Guoan are both in eighth and tenth place with seven and six points, respectively, due to one less game. In the bottom positions of the table, Cangzhou and Dalian people are in the fourth and third from the bottom with the same three points, while Henan and Wuhan are tied at the bottom due to the same two points.
