The Okinawan night sky in the early morning hours of May 29 was illuminated by an announcement from J5 League saloon Okinawa SV that our goalkeeper Benjamin Lai will soon be leaving the team for some reason. It was reported that Lai Benjie will be moving from Okinawa SV's registration list after Okinawa SV's match against Kaiho Bank SC in the seventh round of the Kyushu League on May 30, due to his selection by the Shaanxi U20 All-Tournament Team, and will be on his way back to his home country.

Benjamin Lai, a soccer teenager born on June 2, 2001, used to belong to the Chongqing Football Association and then embarked on a journey to Japan's Shimizu Instigation team to stay in the world after being recommended by the Shaanxi Provincial Youth Training Organization. Last summer, he arrived at Okinawa SV, and now he will return to the field as a warrior for the Shaanxi team. Currently, Okinawa SV is competing in the Kyushu League (fifth division), a regional tournament in Japan, however, Benjamin Lai has not been given the opportunity to play this season.

In a message to the team's official website, Benjamin Lai said with deep emotion, "In this special season, the epidemic has brought challenges for all, and I would like to thank all the fans, sponsors and partners for their support. This time, I will participate in the domestic National Games competition as an honorary representative of Shaanxi Province. The experience in Okinawa SV will help me to play even better in the competition. Thanks to everyone, let's cheer together!"
