On May 20, a buzz in the Shanghai soccer community was set off on social media. Soccer coach Zhu Jiong had an online conversation with reporter Ji Yuyang via Weibo, with the focus naturally falling on Shenhua and Harbor, the city's two soccer teams.
When talking about the stability of the two teams, Zhu Jiong's viewpoint is clear - "the stability of the seaport clearly surpasses that of Shenhua". He further explained: "Shenhua has a deep heritage, but in the past few years the harbor has prevailed in stability. Looking back to the golden period in '94, '95 and '96, almost all of Shenhua's main players were Shanghai locals, and that kind of tacit understanding can't be replicated by any team nowadays. And now Shenhua players from all over the world, each other's understanding and the degree of integration, naturally, can not be compared with that year."
