On the 26th, the Tokyo Olympics soccer schedule was officially unveiled, and the much-anticipated first-round matchup of the Chinese women's soccer team will not take place in Tokyo proper, but against Brazil at the Miyagi Stadium.

It is reported that the match between the Chinese women's soccer team and Brazil, which is in Group F, will be played on July 21 at 5 p.m. local time. The Miyagi Stadium, located in Miyagi Prefecture, the area hardest hit by the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake, has more than 49,000 seats, and was one of the stadiums for the 2002 World Cup soccer tournament.

China's second round opponent, also at the Miyagi Stadium, will start on July 24 at 5 p.m. against Zambia. In the third round of the group stage, China will move to Yokohama International Stadium to play the Netherlands on July 27 at 8:30pm. Yokohama International Stadium is the largest stadium in Japan, with 73,237 seats, and was the venue for the 2002 World Cup final.

This year's Olympic women's soccer tournament featured 12 teams divided into three groups for the group stage. According to the rules, the top two teams in each group and the team with the better third-place finish in both groups will advance to the knockout rounds.
