At the Jiangyin Sports Center, a much-anticipated 2021 Chinese Super League (CSL) season debut in Jiangyin was staged with passion, with the two teams in the thick of the battle being Chinese Super League powerhouses Shanghai Seaport and Beijing Guoan. As an important part of the domestic soccer tournament, Jiangyin Mobile shouldered a heavy responsibility to ensure the smooth progress of the tournament.
In order to provide high-quality network services during the tournament and meet the fans' demand for network use, Jiangyin Mobile quickly set up a network protection commando team. They conducted meticulous testing and troubleshooting of the stadium a week in advance and formulated a detailed protection program. Outside the stadium, the capacity of the base station of the Public Security Bureau and the two existing base stations in the northwest part of the stadium were upgraded; inside the stadium, distributed micro-stations with multi-point layout were used to expand the system capacity. Particularly for the VIP lounge and the podium, novel 4G and 5G indoor coverage technologies were adopted to ensure the mobile network experience. Considering that the audience may carry out activities such as live broadcasting and video sharing during the viewing period, key capacity planning was carried out for the spectator seats, which were covered by traditional room division technology, and multiple directional spotlight antennas were installed on the roof for distributed coverage. After testing, the on-site network signal coverage performance is excellent.
On the day of the game, fans flocked to the scene, the scene is warm and extraordinary. Behind the boisterous scene, Jiangyin Mobile's protection staff was carrying out protection work in an orderly manner, monitoring the on-site network in real time, and making every effort to ensure the fans' network experience. During the game, the overall network operation was stable, and the majority of fans had a high evaluation of the on-site network perception.
