After Wuhan Sanzhen Warriors beat Heilongjiang Bingcheng Warriors by an absolute margin of 4:0 on the night of April 30, with two consecutive victories, the second round of matches in the Central League kicked off again on the following day (May 1st). In Wuhan, Guizhou continued their unbeaten run with a 1:0 win over Gusu Dongwu, thanks to a goal from Ilhamujiang. Meanwhile, Beijing Institute of Technology suffered its second consecutive loss against Liaoning Shenyang City with a score of 1:2.

In the match between Guizhou and Gushu Dongwu, the only goal came in the 39th minute.
