In a drama-filled showdown, the

In the second round of the first phase of the Association First Division League, Guizhou and Suzhou Dongwu played an exciting match at the Wuhan Five Ring Sports Center. In the end, Guizhou defeated Suzhou Dongwu by a narrow margin of 1-0.

Gary White, Head Coach of Suzhou Dongwu, spoke at the press conference, "First of all, I would like to congratulate our opponent Guizhou, which was a fairly close match between the two sides. In the second half, we made tactical adjustments and players stepped up, and our opponent responded to our changes. We ended up missing a penalty in the closing stages of the game and that was all there was to the game." A reporter then asked what adjustments he made when your team was down 0-1 in the first half of the game, to which Gary White responded, "At halftime, we wanted to attack up front in the second half to have more chances and put more pressure on the opponent. We subbed in a couple of frontcourt players as a way to utilize them more effectively. In the second half, Dontron's substitution injected new energy into the team, and then Efirdin, who came on later, caused a lot of problems for the opponents with his speed."
