In the first round of the Chinese Super League on April 20, Chongqing Liangjiang team played with a full Chinese class, but lost to Shandong Taishan by 0-2 score. After the match, Chongqing head coach Zhang Wailong confessed, "Our players strictly followed the pre-match preparation, both in training and before the match, they performed quite well. We also saw all the difficulties the players went through before reaching this height."
