The versatile forward, who has been honing his skills at Yanbian Fude's youth camp since he was a youngster, traveled across the pond to join South Korea's K2 League side Bucheon FC in 2016.The following year, Namsong was loaned out to Chinese Super League side Chongqing Two Rivers Athletic as an U23 player, where he scored three solo strikes and made two assists in 27 games. However, upon his return, Namsong did not excel in the South Korean K2 League, and in 2020, he became a free agent.
