In an interview, Zhao Zhaoxian said, "It's difficult to break the deadlock, but as long as we keep attacking the opponent's goal and keep our faith, the victory is in front of us. Even though the score of 1:2 put us under pressure, we played well before 1:1. Although we ended up losing 1:2, the game was not over. If we attacked more aggressively and broke through first in the next round, there were enough possibilities to make a comeback. Keeping a positive mindset, even at home, opponents will feel the pressure."
Zhao Zhaoxian also recalled his participation in the Olympic preliminaries, "I regret that I didn't give my best at that time. If I could have the chance to stand on the Olympic stage, it would be a very different feeling from the World Cup, and it would be a valuable experience in my life."
