On the teasing day of April 1, the Chinese soccer world ushered in a major event - the 2021 season of the three tiers of the working league clubs in charge of the work of the meeting kicked off in Shanghai. The meeting not only unveiled the new season's schedule, but also officially announced the details of the groupings of the Chinese Super League, the Chinese First League and the Chinese Second League.

The new season of the Chinese Super League will officially open on April 20, and the opening ceremony will be held in Guangzhou. The first phase of the tournament will be played in two popular regions, Guangzhou and Suzhou, using the conference system. All participating teams need to arrive in their respective regions by April 17th to prepare for the upcoming matches.

The 2021 Chinese Super League season's conference system utilizes a serpentine grouping, with the Tianjin Jinmen Tigers swapped with Guangzhou City, and the Jinmen Tigers assigned to Group B of the Suzhou Division. Joining the Jinmen Tigers in the group are Beijing Guoan, Shanghai Harbor, Shanghai Shenhua, Hebei, Dalian People's, Changchun Yatai and Wuhan.

The Guangzhou Region gathers three teams from Guangdong Province, including Guangzhou, Guangzhou City and Shenzhen, as well as Shandong Taishan, Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic, Henan Songshan Longmen, Qingdao and Cangzhou Lions. The first stage of the tournament will feature the Guangzhou Derby, Shanghai Derby and Qilu Derby.
