On April 1, an event in China's soccer world about the 2021 season of the three-tier league kicked off in the Magic City. At this meeting, the competition rules and groupings for the new season of the Chinese Super League, the Chinese First Division and the Chinese Second Division were finally unveiled.

The much-anticipated 2021 season of the Chinese Super League will kick off on April 20, with the opening ceremony to be held in Guangzhou. The first phase of the tournament will be held in Guangzhou and Suzhou. Participating teams need to arrive at the tournament zones before April 17th to prepare for the upcoming matches.

It is worth mentioning that the 2021 season of the Chinese Super League has a unique way of grouping in the conference system, taking a serpentine placement. Among them, Tianjin Jinmen Tigers were exchanged with Guangzhou City, and Jinmen Tigers were assigned to Group B of the Suzhou Division. In the same group were Beijing Guoan, Shanghai Harbor, Shanghai Shenhua, Hebei, Dalian Ren, Changchun Yatai and Wuhan.

The Guangzhou Region brought together three local Guangdong teams, namely Team Guangzhou, Team Guangzhou City and Team Shenzhen. In addition, Shandong Taishan, Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic, Henan Songshan Longmen, Qingdao and Cangzhou Lions also gathered together. The first stage of the tournament will feature three derbies - Guangzhou Derby, Shanghai Derby and Qilu Derby - which are too exciting to miss.
