In the late afternoon of March 29th, Beijing time, our country

The Association officially announced the 2021 National Tertiary

The league's entry list totals 57 clubs competing in this year's professional tournament, with the national

16 seats in the First Division, 18 seats in the Central League, and 23 seats in the Second Division.

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated reform of team names has also come to an end, with all teams submitting new names for the new season.

Among them, Beijing

With the transfer of equity, the successful continuation of the decades-old "old" name, while Shandong and Shanghai inherited the iconic flag of Taishan and Shenhua.

Compared to these, however, the other teams' new names fall flat.

and a few others, the rest of the teams are named either directly after places or people and lack creativity.

Needless to mention that compared to the Japanese professional league, even compared to the Central League, there is a considerable gap.

Compare and contrast the neutral names of the Central League:

With the exception of Zhejiang, Kunshan, and Guizhou, which are slightly more conventional, all the other teams have unique characteristic names.

For example, traditional powerhouses Sichuan Jiuniu and Meizhou Hakka.

Another example is the three towns of Wuhan and Zibo Cuju, which are named after regional characteristics.

There are also Suzhou Dongwu and Shaanxi Chang'an, which are named according to their historical backgrounds. These names are not only creative but also easy to remember.

In particular, the Chinese B League is known as the pioneer of neutral name reform, with all kinds of pleasant names coming out.

Things like Xi'an Junwolf, Sichuan Minzu, and Shaanxi Terracotta Warriors crossing the border are simply refreshing.

On the contrary, the so-called Guangzhou, Dalian and Qingdao teams are really lacking in creativity.

Can the owners of these teams get a little creative while supporting neutral name reform?
