Individuals, Guangzhou team's player lineup may not be the top domestic choice, but cohesion into an army, their team power can produce amazing effects, just like 1 +1 > 2 magic. In this team, the figure of the international players is not common, even those who are lucky to be selected, can rarely sit in the main position.
Surprisingly, Yu Menghui, the Nanjing City player who beat Guangzhou in this match, was a former student of Evergrande's soccer school. Rumor has it that he spent 9 years of his soccer career there, and is undoubtedly a part of Evergrande's youth development system. It is no wonder that Yu Menghui did not celebrate after helping his team beat Guangzhou 2-1 (see photo above), but instead held his head down, showing unspeakable pain (see photo below).
Nevertheless, it was a rewarding season for Guangzhou. They achieved their relegation goal many rounds ahead of schedule, not only exceeding expectations, but even reaching a point beyond success. The only regret is that the young players are slightly less resilient and prone to emotional outbursts when facing pressure. This will be a difficult hurdle for Guangzhou to focus on in the next season.
