In the B-League, the young Shenzhen players who failed to be promoted to the A-League are meeting new challenges with unyielding fighting spirit. Four teams stood out in the race for promotion to the B-League, three of which originated from Guangdong: Shenzhen 2028, Guangzhou Anhua, and Guangdong Mintu. This pattern signifies that four Guangdong teams will be welcomed in the B Grade League next season.
Looking ahead to the 2025 season, Guangdong will have a record nine professional teams spread across the three tiers of the professional league, overtaking Shandong as the province with the most professional teams. Although Shandong still has seven teams: Shandong Taishan, Qingdao Hainiu, Qingdao West Coast, Qingdao Red Lion, Rizhao Yuqi, Tai'an Tianzhu, and Shandong Taishan B, there is still a gap compared to Guangdong.
Nantong Zhiyun was relegated from the Chinese Super League, and Jiangsu soccer once again bid farewell to the top league. However, Jiangsu still maintains a strong presence in the China A-League, with Nantong Jiyun, Suzhou Dongwu and Nanjing. Originally, Wuxi Wuhu was among them, but unfortunately was relegated, and two consecutive years of relegation left it ineligible for promotion, dropping it completely to the China B League. Next season, Wuxi Wuhu will join Nantong Haimen in the B-League, and Jiangsu soccer is still pivotal on the green map.
Meanwhile, Dalian Yingbo's success in the Super League, Dalian Kuncheng's impact on the A-League, and Liaoning Ironman's strong rise, indicate that Liaoning soccer will show strong competitiveness in the next season. The Liaoning derby between Liaoning Ironmen and Dalian Kuncheng will be an exciting sight in the Chinese A-League.
It is worth mentioning that Yunnan Yukun's successful run to the Super League marks the return of Yunnan soccer to the top flight after 21 years. This feat will undoubtedly add a splash of color to the 2025 Chinese Super League.
