A soccer feast for the U14 national junior training team will kick off in Xi'an from Oct. 25 to 30, reports Miao Yuan.
On the 17th, the CFA released the announcement of the fourth training session of the 2024 U-14 national team selection team, noting that from the 21st to the 31st, the Xi'an Sports Training Center will be the arena for 25 players.
Miao Yuan revealed that the trip to Xi'an is not only a competitive match, but also a cultural journey. In addition to the competition, the young players will also have the opportunity to visit the scenic spots in Xi'an and experience the charm of Chinese culture.
The format of the tournament saw the teams divided into two groups, with the winners going through to the semi-finals and the losers having to go through a crossover round to determine the final rankings.
The list of participating teams is star-studded, including not only the elite U14 boys' soccer team from Shenzhen Base, but also the Xi'an men's youth team, Guangzhou Yinghua Sili team and Zhejiang team.
The international flavor is equally strong, with Uzbekistan's Cotton Farmers Youth Team, Germany's Oldenburg Youth Team, the Netherlands' Den Bosch Youth Team and Kazakhstan's Khairati Youth Team joining in the soccer extravaganza.
The tournament has a packed schedule, kicking off on Friday, with the second round on Saturday and the third round on Sunday.
A soccer forum will be held in Xi'an on October 28th, while on October 29th, the semi-finals will be officially played.
On October 30th, the smoke of the final will fill the Xi'an Olympic Sports Center, followed by an awards ceremony that will bring this competitive journey to a successful conclusion.
On October 31st, all the parting and anticipation will be turned into a bright vision for the future.
