The day before yesterday, the Disciplinary Committee of the Chinese Football Association (CFA) made a heavy penalty decision on Dalian Yingbo Football Club's foreign aid Karanga, ordering him to be suspended for four rounds of matches and imposing a fine of 40,000 RMB.
In a match against Guangxi Pingguo Ha Rang, Karanga inadvertently swung his elbow and hit an opposing player in the face as he fought for the ball. After the match, the Football Association decided to give him a four-game suspension and a fine of 40,000 yuan in view of the negative impact of his behavior on social morale.
Tracing Karanga's career in soccer, it is not difficult to find controversial behavior. The former player, who played for Henan in the Chinese Super League, was suspended for seven matches and fined 49,000 yuan by the Football Association in the 2018 season for a foul committed without the ball against none other than the yet-to-be-defunct Jiangsu Suning.
In addition, during the 2022 season in Chengdu Rongcheng, Karanga fell to the ground and maliciously kicked at an opposing player, and was ejected by the referee showing a red card. After the match, the FA imposed an additional penalty of a three-game suspension and a fine of 30,000 yuan.
Karanga left Henan for the Chinese national team Jinan Xingzhou. He was again suspended for four matches and fined 40,000 yuan by the Football Association for violent conduct without the ball during a match.
Nonetheless, Karanga opted to leave the Chinese league at the end of the season, leaving a one-game suspension unenforced. Upon his return to China, he was suspended for three games for a disciplinary matter at Bulgaria's Central Army in Sofia. He then returned to China to join Dalian Yingbo.
However, Karanga still had to fulfill the remainder of his previous suspension after joining Dalian Imbo. Unfortunately, his bad behavior has not been corrected, and this time he has been penalized by the FA for on-field violence.
