Yunnan Yukon Club Statement
[July 23 Express] Following the incident of Liaoning Ironman Club, Yunnan Yukun Club has issued a sternly worded statement on the insults to fans by the official account of Heilongjiang Bingcheng Club.
solemn declaration
On July 20, 2024, our club's first team drew 0-0 with Heilongjiang Bingcheng Football Club on the road in the 18th round of the 2024 season of the Chinese Football Association First Division League. At the end of the match, we received numerous reports from our fans, revealing that the official Shake Shack account of Heilongjiang Bingcheng went so far as to use vulgar language to insult our fans and slander our club without any reason in their replies to private messages. In response, we expressed our strong dissatisfaction and condemnation!
This year, the State General Administration of Sports and the Chinese Football Association (CFA) have attached great importance to the style of play and discipline in China's professional soccer leagues, and actively guiding the attitudes of the fans and the media has become the focus of their work. However, in one round of the season, we took the initiative to organize the fans association to hang welcome banners in the stadium to welcome the visiting fans with warm slogans before we hosted Heilongjiang Bingcheng. However, we did not expect that our friendly behavior towards the visiting fans would be met with inappropriate comments from the Heilongjiang Bingcheng club.
Differences between clubs and fans are inevitable in the stadium, but instead of trying to mediate, the official social media has taken the initiative to stir up trouble, insulting the opposing fans and smearing the opposing club. This kind of behavior is rare in both domestic and international soccer, which is puzzling and even more intolerable.
As we all know, Chinese soccer is at a low ebb, and rebuilding the overall image requires the joint efforts of all parties. Since its establishment, our club has always been committed to maintaining a positive image while pursuing results. This incident has not only hurt the feelings of the Yunnan fans, but has also had a negative impact on our club and its investors, as well as being an insult to those who support the development of Chinese soccer.
We strongly demand that Heilongjiang Bingcheng FC and the relevant responsible persons apologize to our club and Yunnan fans for this remark and behavior, and deal with the responsible persons seriously. Our club reserves the right to pursue responsibility through other means.
Finally, our club calls on Chinese soccer practitioners to respect their opponents and fans, honor professional soccer, and work together to create a healthy and positive environment for Chinese soccer.
