Tsimshatsui Tigers and Oakland City Soccer Exchange Event
In the 18th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on July 8, Tianjin Jinmen Tigers and Changchun Yatai fought a fierce battle and ended in a 2-2 draw. It is worth mentioning that former Jinmen Tigers player Zhou Tong visited the TEDA soccer stadium with New Zealand's Auckland City Football Club.
Zhou recalls fondly: "It was heart-warming to return to my homeland and reunite with my former coaches, teammates and fans. As a footballer and sportsman with experience both at home and abroad, I know that the relationship between China and New Zealand has been so good that we have been able to encourage and promote such humanistic exchanges, especially in the field of youth soccer. I believe that this is exactly where my mission and responsibility lies."
According to the latest news, Zhou Tong will lead Auckland's U13 combined team to visit China from July 5th to 13th. During this period, Zhou Tong will lead the team to a five-day training session in Tianjin, followed by a visit to the Great Wall in Beijing and a trip to Shanghai for exchanges, before returning to Auckland on July 13th.
