Amidst the stormy weather on July 3, the Football Gazette revealed Li Jin Yu's decision - he has resolutely taken over the coaching reins of the Liaoning Ironmen.
Looking back yesterday, Liaoning Provincial Ironman team grandly announced that Li Jinyu will be honored as the team's new coach. Li Jin Yu said fondly: "Revitalization of Liaoning soccer, is my responsibility. Hometown of the deep friendship, as well as my passionate desire for the cause of soccer, so that I did not hesitate to make this decision. Having been away from home for many years, I have always harbored in my heart the desire to return to my hometown and teach soccer skills. Now, as the head coach of Liaoning Ironmen, I am doubly proud and will do my best to help the team take off."
As night falls, Li Jin Yu has started to play alongside the team on the pitch. He lamented, "Coaching my hometown team for the first time brings both familiarity and new challenges. What is familiar is the soccer atmosphere of this land; what is dear is the coaches who were my teammates; and what is familiar is the players I personally selected. However, for this team, I still need to start from scratch."
The Liaoning Ironmen are currently sitting in a solid 14th place in the Central League. On Sunday, Li Jin Yu will lead his team to meet the challenge of Chongqing Tongliang Dragons at home. The first match is just around the corner, so we are looking forward to an exciting competition.
