On May 14, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) unveiled its latest penalty decisions, which dealt seriously with violations in the Chinese Super League.
Qingdao Hainiu Football Club has been handed a two-match ban as well as a fine of 200,000 RMB for the inappropriate behavior of the home crowd. Specifically, in the closing stages of the match, a large number of spectators threw drink bottles and other items onto the pitch, causing serious disorder on the pitch. The match was interrupted for a time to ensure safety and order, and was resumed after being quickly cleaned up by staff. Subsequently, in front of the Qingdao Hainiu bench, the referee imposed a fine on the Nantong Zhiyun Football Club players.
Meanwhile, Meizhou Hakka defender Pan Ximing suffered a heavy penalty for violent behavior against a Guoan player. In the 74th minute of the match, the referee suspended the game after Pan Ximing committed a foul during a scramble. However, Pan Ximing stepped on his opponent with his foot, causing him to fall down. The referee decisively showed a red card and imposed a six-match suspension and a 60,000 yuan fine.
These intense scenes on the field reminded all the players once again that following the rules and respecting the opponents is the core spirit of the game of soccer.
