In a passionate showdown on May 7, China's U17 women's soccer team swept Australia 3-0 to kick off the group stage. Coach Ice said confidently that China's U17 women's soccer team is aiming to finish first in the group, and in doing so, will be able to skillfully avoid rival North Korea, adding leverage to their World Cup journey.

Ice recorded the moment in detail on her microblog, "The Australian coach was outspoken and called this the strongest U17 girls' soccer team ever, but our girls proved their extraordinary strength with real action. Nonetheless, the joy of victory has yet to be fully released."

Chill elaborated further, "The DPRK U17 Women's Soccer Team defeated the South Korean U17 Women's Soccer Team by a lopsided score of 7-0, a result that highlights the gulf in strength between the two teams. China's U17 women's soccer team will have to fight for first place in the group stage and avoid a head-to-head meeting with the DPRK in the semifinals if they are to hopefully make it to the World Cup final stage. For the Japan U17 Women's soccer team, the final match of the group stage will be a decisive turning point."

A total of eight teams competed in the tournament, with the top three teams earning direct berths to the U17 Women's World Cup.
