
Star Davies visits Juventus training base
On May 3rd, soccer legend Edgar Davies visited the Juventus training base for a field trip to train the U19 youth and women's soccer teams.
Davies arrived at Juve's Vinovo training base on Thursday to observe the U19 youth team, coached by Montero, in training, before moving on to watch the Juve women's soccer team train. He was personally received by Juve's head of youth training, Pesotto.
Juventus FC excitedly announced on social media, "Today, we are honored to welcome Edgar as our distinguished guest."
Davies, 51, was an outstanding midfielder who played for Juventus between 1997 and 2004 and won three Serie A titles with the team. He was a teammate of Montero and Peixoto. After retiring from playing, Davies went into coaching as an assistant coach for the Dutch national team and contributed to the World Cup in Qatar.
