On April 22, China's soccer industry ushered in a major organizational restructuring, the Chinese Football Association officially announced the list of the new leadership team members and heads of functional departments. Song Kai was elevated to the position of President of the Association, while Zhang Jiasheng assumed the position of Secretary of the Party Committee. It is worth noting that the national team management department, referee department, competition department and other core departments are currently no ministerial candidates, the relevant duties temporarily by the deputy minister to fulfill. So, is Song Kai or Zhang Jiasheng the core of the CFA's leadership?
From the point of view of the division of their respective duties, Zhang Jiasheng is mainly responsible for the training and game organization of the men's and women's national teams, the review and organization of the men's and women's leagues, the development of youth and mass soccer, as well as external liaison, the importance of which is self-evident.
And in line with the principle of chief executive responsibility, Song Kai seems to be playing an even more important role in fulfilling his presidential duties by appearing frequently in public as the FA chairman, participating in national team matches, the youth training program on Chongming Island, and watching Chinese Super League matches on the spot.
Referring to the management structure of the Table Tennis Association and the Basketball Association, Liu Guoliang and Yao Ming are the top leaders of these two associations. It is worth noting that the Table Tennis Association does not have a Party Secretary, while Guo Zhenqing is the Vice President and Party Secretary of the Basketball Association, and also serves as the President of the Association, making him the top leader.
So, in your opinion, does the leadership of the CFA go to Song Kai or Zhang Jiasheng?
