Last year, the honor of Breakthrough of the Year did not go to our frog king Qin Haiyang, but to Real Madrid's new star Bellingham. Although Qin's performance was remarkable, he unfortunately missed out on the award. Since joining Real Madrid last year, Bellingham's career has rocketed. This season, he has played 36 matches for Real Madrid, scoring 21 goals and adding 10 assists.

Here are the winners of the other awards:

Alyssa Theroux was honored with the Ultimate Athlete of the Year award. The dynamic young talent wrote the legend at last year's skateboarding event, becoming the first woman to complete a 720-degree spin and reaping the rewards of a season full of glory.

The Sports for Good Award went to the Nadal Foundation (an organization that believes in the magic of sport and has helped more than 1,000 disadvantaged young people in Spain and India to unlock their potential).

The 2023 Para-Athlete of the Year title belongs to Dieudel de Groot, who went undefeated in 53 singles matches and won all Grand Slam tournaments for the third time.

The Comeback of the Year award went to gymnastics legend Simon Biles (the iconic figure struck four golds at last year's World Championships, including a record sixth all-around title).

In the Women's World Cup, Spain's women's soccer team performed well to win their first ever title, winning the Team of the Year award.
