Central Asian soccer powerhouse Uzbekistan U23 Men's Football Team has a first-round showdown against Southeast Asian soccer powerhouse Malaysia U23 Men's Football Team in the group stage of the hotly contested U23 Asian Cup.
Ahead of the clash, Uzbekistan U23 have shown strong form, winning their first two rounds of matches, including a 2-0 friendly win, while Malaysia U23 have been mired in a losing streak, going down 1-2 to China in a friendly match. As such, Uzbekistan U23 clearly outclassed Malaysia U23, with more than 70% of fans convinced that Uzbekistan U23 will have the last laugh in this pre-tournament showdown.
The match had its ups and downs, with Janolidinov giving Uzbekistan U23 the lead on the stroke of half-time.
And in the second half, Hoschimov's goal in the 84th minute sealed the game for good.
