Guangzhou Leopard FC welcomes new recruits, Liu Chaoyang and Xia Dalong join the club.
Guangzhou, March 13, 2011] Today, Guangdong Guangzhou Leopard Football Club (formerly known as Guangzhou Leopard), a China B team, officially announced that Qingdao Hainiu player Liu Chaoyang and Shenzhen Xinpengcheng player Xia Dalong have joined the team through loan, injecting fresh blood into the team. Both players are strong players in the striker position, in which Xia Dalong has the background of Japan Furuya youth training camp, and Liu Chaoyang is from Luneng youth training system.

Liu Chaoyang has officially joined Guangzhou Leopard, after a friendly negotiation with Qingdao Hainiu Football Club and the player. He will wear No. 17 and represent Guangzhou Leopard in all matches of the 2024 season.
24-year-old Liu Chaoyang, a native of Chengdu, was born on June 8, 1999 at a height of 185cm. He comes from Luneng Youth Training and has been selected for the National Junior and National Youth squads several times in his career. At the 13th National Games in 2017, Liu Chaoyang led the Sichuan National Games team to the final of the men's U-18 group as captain.In 2019, he entered the first team of Shandong Taishan and transferred to Sichuan FC in the summer of the same year.In the 2020-2021 seasons, Liu Chaoyang bounced around Shijiazhuang Yongchang and Chengdu Rongcheng, and in the 2022 season, he performed well in Shaanxi Chang'an, appearing in a total of 28 matches, and scoring 7 goals! He played 28 matches and scored 7 goals.
Liu Chaoyang is regarded as an excellent representative of China's 99-year-old frontcourt with his mature style of play and strong heading ability. His joining will bring rich technical and tactical elements to Guangzhou Panthers, and we expect him to contribute more energy to the team in the new season!
Meanwhile, Shadalong has joined the Guangzhou Panthers family. Born on June 27, 1993, the 30-year-old striker, who stands at 190cm, also hails from Japan's Furuya Youth Camp. He played in the Japanese University League before joining Baoding Rongda in 2019, making 31 appearances and contributing eight goals, and moving to Shenzhen Xinpengcheng in 2020, where he made 81 appearances in three seasons, scoring 12 goals and two assists.In the 2023 season, Xia Dalong helped his team win the Central League title.
As a high center, Xia Dalong has outstanding physical quality, obvious pivot role, excellent mobility and awareness. His arrival will further enhance the height and hardness of Guangzhou Panthers' frontcourt.
