More than 20,000 fans flocked to the venue to witness an exciting Chinese Super League showdown. Dalian fans jokingly called Changsha Jinde's tactics "Torn Pants Legs Wrapped Legs", and every game was extremely tough.
Only one minute into the game, Zhai Yanpeng attacked from the left and his pass was intercepted by the opponent's defender. In the 86th minute, Hu Zhaojun, who had been out of action for a long time, came on as a substitute to strengthen the defense. A minute later, Changsha Jinde attacked from a corner kick and Wang Sheng blocked the ball on the goal line, much to Chen Dong's relief.
In the end, Dalian Shide beat Changsha Jinde 1-0, taking the victory from the away field with difficulty, and also ending the embarrassing situation of not winning the first round of matches for three consecutive seasons.
After the match, Jangovic was banned for six matches and fined 6,000 yuan by the CFA.
