Western media outlet Relevo dug deeper into Pedri's injury history: prior to the summer of 2021, Pedri was uninjured, but that season he appeared in 72 games (73 actually) and suffered nine injuries that caused him to miss 71 games.
According to Der Spin data, Pedrie was injured four times in the 21-22 season; twice in the 22-23 season; and three times in the 23-24 season. Injuries have been a major hindrance to his career.
In the 2020-21 season, Pedri made 52 appearances for Barcelona in six UEFA Europa League games, six Olympic Games, three world qualifiers, four U21 Europa League qualifiers and two international friendlies.
At just 18 years of age, Pedri has competed in nine matches this season, accumulating 73 games. After the Olympic men's soccer final, he resolutely chose to end his vacation early, returned to the team and made his debut in the first round of the Western Conference.
