Soccer Transfer News
In the latest news, Spain's leading media outlet Marca has revealed that Zambian women's soccer star Rachel Kundanangi has completed a transfer that has shocked the soccer world. She said goodbye to the Madrid women's soccer team and moved to the United States Gulf Coast Soccer Club, a deal that set a new record for women's soccer transfer fees with a transfer fee of 735,000 euros.
Kundanangi, who is just 23 years old, had sparked the attention of Gulf FC in January this year, when they tried to bring him in with an offer of 400,000 euros, which was however rejected by Madrid Women's Football. Now, Gulf Club have thrown their weight behind the player, paying a termination fee of 735,000 euros to successfully sign the talented player to a five-year contract.
The transfer not only set a new record for a transfer fee for a women's soccer team, but also surpassed the previous record total of €500,000 held by Ramirez. Ramirez joined Chelsea from Levante for a fee of €450,000 plus €50,000 in extras.
