In a Fox Sports update, the NWSL's Gulf Coast Women's Soccer team has successfully brought in Zambian-born striker Kundanangi in a transfer deal that set a new record for transfer fees in women's soccer with a sum of $787,000 dollars.

In a special moment on Tuesday, Gulf Coast Women's Soccer reached a five-year deal with 23-year-old Kundananjee, with a fifth-year clause in the contract for an optional extension and a transfer fee of $787,000 that has become a benchmark in the women's soccer transfer market in one fell swoop.

Kundanangi, a young player who had made her mark on the CFF Women's Soccer team in Madrid, showed her outstanding offensive talent last season with 25 goals and 3 assists in 29 matches for the team. This season, she has been equally impressive, contributing eight goals and two assists in 14 matches. Notably, she also represented the Zambian national team at last year's Women's World Cup, scoring 10 goals in 18 matches.

Ms. Lucy, the General Manager of Gulf Soccer Club, is confident in Kundanangi's arrival: "Kundanangi's calm demeanor on the field is impressive, and she is able to use different shooting techniques in a variety of positions. We are confident that she will continue to grow and show her strengths at our club while enhancing the strength and talent of the team's offense."
